iPhone Programming Course
The Computer Science Department at Santa Barbara City College offers first of its kind course in iPhone Programming.
Dr. Dean Nevins, Department Chair in Computer Science at Santa Barbara City College has developed and implemented a new course in iPhone Programming at Santa Barbara City College. This new course, developed through the Mobile Media Institute NSF Project (ATE Project #0702598) is one of a number of new courses being offered by Santa Barbara City College in Mobile Application Development.This new project-oriented course in developing Objective-C based native applications for the iPhone and iPod touch platforms has been extremely popular, with a long waiting list for enrollment. The course covers development tools (Xcode, Interface Builder, Instruments) Objective-C language, Cocoa and Cocoa Touch frameworks, and also how to deploy applications to the Apple App store.
